DANSE MAKABRE 2022

It is a dance in the idea of caring for the place in which it is danced. The mud itself here can mean a burn pit, a construction site or a meadow. It is not clear whether it is a place where something will be built, or a space where something has already been destroyed, razed to the ground. 

Is it a dance for death? Or to celebrate birth?

The action is also a dance of death of the earth itself, which, conducting the performers, performs a kind of ritual of salvation. Two figures dancing a macabre, possessed dance as if not only their survival, but the life of the entire earth depended on it.
